1. About NairaUSD

NairaUSD is a financial, economic, and business intelligence platform owned and operated by Risk Funders Ltd, a registered corporate entity in Nigeria.

The platform provides information, data, calculators, analytical tools, market commentary, and decision-support resources intended to help users better understand financial, economic, and commercial conditions.

NairaUSD is not a bank, financial institution, currency exchange, payment processor, fund manager, or licensed investment adviser.

2. Informational and Decision-Support Purpose

Information provided by NairaUSD is published strictly for informational, educational, and general decision-support purposes. Our content, tool outputs, and market indicators do not constitute personalized:

• Financial or investment advice
• Legal or regulatory counsel
• Tax or accounting advice
• Currency trading or broker recommendations

Users remain fully responsible for evaluating information in light of their specific circumstances and obtaining qualified professional advice where appropriate before making capital allocations or business commitments.

3. Economic and Market Data

NairaUSD displays exchange rates, inflation figures, monetary interest rates, foreign reserves, customs FX rates, and other macroeconomic indicators. While we utilize reliable sources and enforce technical validation checks:

  • Source providers may revise previously published historical figures;
  • Different datasets operate under varying reporting cycles and release lags;
  • Technical or API processing delays may occur; and
  • Market exchange rates change dynamically after they are rendered.

For detailed transparency regarding data ingestion and source hierarchies, view our Data & Methodology Page →

4. Exchange Rates and Market Prices

Exchange rates displayed on NairaUSD may represent official reference rates, commercial market observations, or digital route baselines. Unless expressly stated in writing, a displayed rate does not represent:

Important Execution Boundary: Displayed exchange rates do not constitute a guaranteed transaction price, an offer to buy/sell currency, a commitment by NairaUSD to execute a transaction, or a guarantee that third-party liquidity desks will transact at that rate. Actual transaction quotes vary based on bank fees, location, volume, and intraday market movements.

5. Calculators and Decision Tools

NairaUSD provides interactive calculators, diagnostic tools, and assessment engines for operational convenience. Tool outputs depend on user inputs, defined mathematical formulas, and live or historical database parameters.

Calculator outputs represent model estimates designed for strategic planning. Users must verify key outputs before relying on them for major commercial contracts, loan commitments, or import orders.

6. NairaUSD Signals and Interpretations

NairaUSD classifies economic conditions using directional labels such as Easing, Accelerating, High Pressure, Moderate, or Critical.

Unless explicitly attributed to an official institution (such as the NBS or CBN), these classifications represent proprietary NairaUSD analytical interpretations based on defined data models and rules engines. They do not represent official state classifications.

Technical Guardrails

7. Use of Artificial Intelligence and Automation

NairaUSD uses artificial intelligence models and automated data ingestion scripts to support data processing, classification, content synthesis, and explanatory commentary.

Precedence Hierarchy: Structured database records and defined mathematical calculations strictly supersede generated commentary in the event of any conflict or ambiguity.

8. Acceptable Use Policy

You may access NairaUSD for lawful personal, educational, and commercial decision-support purposes. You agree that you will not:

  • Interfere with platform security, server stability, or runtime performance;
  • Attempt unauthorized access to NairaUSD databases, API endpoints, or administrative systems;
  • Scrape or extract database feeds at a volume that materially degrades platform performance;
  • Misrepresent NairaUSD analytical commentary as official state figures; or
  • Use the platform for fraudulent, deceptive, or unlawful commercial activities.

9. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, Risk Funders Ltd owns or holds the rights to the NairaUSD platform design, custom code, written analysis, calculator logic, rating frameworks, graphics, and database structures.

You may quote or link to NairaUSD content for lawful informational or news reporting purposes with proper source attribution. You may not reproduce substantial custom tools, database structures, or proprietary software frameworks for commercial redistribution without written authorization.

10. Commercial Services, Fees & Payments

While most public economic intelligence pages on NairaUSD are accessible without charge, certain advanced diagnostics, premium reports, assessments, or specialized consulting services provided by Risk Funders Ltd may require payment.

Fee Transparency: Applicable charges and service scopes are disclosed prior to payment commitment.
Service Contracts: Paid engagements are governed by specific proposal terms in addition to these general conditions.

11. Limitation of Reliance

Users should not rely solely on NairaUSD information where a decision involves substantial financial, regulatory, or legal risk. To the extent permitted under applicable Nigerian law, NairaUSD and Risk Funders Ltd are not liable for losses resulting from delayed third-party data feeds, intraday market movements, or decisions made without independent verification.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits statutory consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Act (FCCPA) or applicable Nigerian legislation.

12. Governing Law & Related Policies

These Terms of Use are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
